banana walk phuket
Banana Walk, Phuket's newest beachfront shopping and lifestyle destination opening in June 2012 with over 4,000 sqm of restaurants and shops. Situated directly on Patong Beach road in Phuket across from the white sands and steps from busy Bangla road.
A new shopping and restaurant destination that is suited to local residents and tourists alike. Banana Walk features an interesting mix of quality retailers, multiple restaurants, rooftop gardens and lounge areas, a nightclub and smart tech conference center next to
the Patong Beach Hotel and Banana Disco. Located on one of Thailand's busiest tourist streets with an average of 5,000 visitors walking past each day it is an area that buzzes from mid morning through till about 2am.
Sustainable design, quality at value prices and smart retail concepts are hallmarks of this exciting new project that will enhance Patongs changing image, whilst keeping a sand in your toes type of casual experience and attitude.

Banana Walk is strategically located 100m south of Soi Bangla, on the beach road next to Banana disco.
This section of Patong is about the busiest for foot traffic and is very busy from 10am till midnight. On average over 5,000 people a day walk past with peak periods late evening of almost 1,000 per hour.
The mix of tourists are about 70% and the majority of shoppers are women. There is a lack of good restaurants
in the area and almost no shopping, except for Jungceylon on the other side of town and the normal stalls selling t-shirts.
F&B accounts for 50% of leaseable area Retail accounts for 44% of leasable area (this includes Thai designers at 11%) Conference and offices account for just under 10%.
Approximately 720 sqm of additional rentable areas have been created, or almost 20% of the total space.
This excludes carts and the main square for events.
The design is authentic, natural and has an eco look. The concept is natural, with stone, wood, bamboo giving a sense of place to a Thai shopping experience and creating an original shopping destination.
Storefronts will be bold and bright – a showcase of good design.
